I attended my first Bikram yoga class on September 30th, 2013.  I fell in love with the practice right away.  Never before had I experienced such a complete improvement in the way my body felt in only 90 minutes.    After an initial 40 days of consecutive practice, I felt healthier than ever.   My body was free from the nagging pain of numerous chronic injuries, I had more energy to do the things I enjoy, and I became a better friend, brother, son, and partner.  Every aspect of my life improved steadily and consistently as I continued to practice.  And I wasn’t alone.  As I got to know my fellow yogis and heard their stories, the transformative and healing powers of this yoga practice became clear.  It just works.  It is like a master key for the human mind/body system.    

After only a few months of practicing, I knew I wanted the opportunity to share this gift.  With the encouragement of my teachers, I attended Bikram’s teacher training in the spring of 2014.  The experience confirmed and expanded my passion for this yoga, and it is now my great privilege to be certified to teach Bikram’s method of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises.

I am continually humbled and inspired by my fellow practitioners. In a world full of choices, there are so many ways to spend any given 90 minutes.   Thank you for making the choice to show up for class and realize these benefits for yourself.  Together, may we practice, grow, and enjoy wonderful lives!
